We want to thank all of the volunteers who attended our Volunteer Appreciation Dinner on April 18, 2019, at the Atlanta Bread Company in the FORUM on Peachtree Parkway, Peachtree Corners. We enjoyed a great Italian meal with cake for dessert. We recognized our Volunteer of the Year, John Bordonali, for all of his contributions and service. He was awarded a certificate with a $50 gift card from REI Sporting Goods. Each volunteer in attendance also received a food bin with the Norcross Meals on Wheels logo filled with all types of goodies including a Chick Filet gift card. The bins are to be used when carrying each individual meal to the clients’ door. Thanks again for making our 40th year a great success and thank all the volunteers for their unselfish service.
Norcross Meals on Wheels is happy to celebrate it’s 40th year in serving the local communities of Norcross, Duluth, Peachtree Corners, and Berkeley Lake. We want to thank all of the wonderful contributors, volunteers and the communities that have allowed us to serve the people that need it the most- the homebound in need of nutrition and care.
Congratulations John Bordonali on being chosen as Norcross Meals on Wheels’s 2018 Volunteer of the year! John has been delivering meals for just over a year now but has gone above and beyond in serving our clients. He not only volunteers for over 4 routes a month, he is the first one to volunteer to cover open routes as a sub-angels. He is the go-to guy for training new volunteers and his warm smile and friendly manner is contagious. When John is not delivering meals, he is either hiking or visiting his family. Thank you John for your dedicated service.
